The training provided in the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) prepares students with beginner level knowledge on the responsibilities of possessing and using restricted firearms, their safe use and handling as well as storage of firearms and ammunition.
The Non-Restricted, CFSC, and the Restricted, CRFSC, must both be successfully completed to apply for your Non-Restricted/Restricted PAL.
The course takes a minimum of 6 hours to complete not including the written and practical test. The topics covered in the course include:
The course fee will be refunded when given 5 full business days notice of cancellation.
From 5 business days to 48 hours before the class I will make every effort to fill your spot but if the spot is not taken I will refund 50% of the fee. No refund will be given if the notice of the student being unable to attend comes within the last 48 hours before the course or the student does not show for the class.
I reserve the right to reschedule any class without notice. If the course must be rescheduled I will provide the student the option to reschedule or have the course fee refunded. Only one reschedule will be given.
The FSESO shall take all reasonable measures to safeguard personal information and privacy of participants. To safeguard the personal information entrusted to the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO), its directors, officers, employees, proctors, subcontractors, volunteers and members shall comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any other applicable legislation.
